ABOUT
Founded in 2020 and led by designer Ashlynn Park, ASHLYN has been recognized for its mastery of modern tailoring, commitment to quality, and a design philosophy and studio discipline that respect time, people, and the environment. As a designer and business owner, Park challenges a world of overproduction and overconsumption by focusing on zero-waste creation, empowering each stakeholder in her process to act consciously and responsibly in their development activities.
ASHLYN has been honored as an LVMH Prize Finalist in 2022, the 18th winner of SAMSUNG’s SFDF Prize, and selected to participate in the prestigious MATCHESFASHION Innovator and BERGDORF GOODMAN Radar programs.
In 2021, ASHLYN was invited by The Metropolitan Museum of Art to showcase Quinn, a gown constructed to be light-filled, in the "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion" exhibition. ASHLYN is now represented in the museum's permanent collection with several of her designs, including one of the zero-waste pieces.
The ASHLYN brand exists to share its values, intentions, knowledge, and culture with the aim of passing them on to the next generation. A mentor and collaborator, Park explores new creative terrain through the exchange of ideas with artists and makers from other disciplines. Through trust and freedom, a multi-layered brand universe is communicated as each new collection comes to life.

Ashlynn Park’s career spans two continents and over a decade of experience at some of the world’s most influential fashion houses. As a student, Park trained at the finest institutes in her native Seoul before moving to Tokyo to continue her master's studies. After winning Japan’s prestigious SO-EN Award in 2008, Park was offered a role as a Fashion Designer and Pattern Maker at Yohji Yamamoto.
Shortly after moving to New York in 2011, Park joined the creative team at Alexander Wang. She further honed her skills by working on the line’s runway collection and producing special-event pieces for Beyoncé, Madonna, and Rihanna. More recently, Park worked alongside Raf Simons during his tenure as creative director of Calvin Klein 205W39NYC.
Today, Park brings her craft and unique perspective to her eponymous label, ASHLYN. She applies pattern-making techniques perfected in Japan to create minimalist designs with precision, marrying them with the Western art of draping to evoke confidence and ease in every silhouette. Her approach is intentional and earth-conscious. Each piece celebrates powerful femininity and timeless elegance, while the brand simultaneously works to minimize waste and environmental harm at every step of the process.
Above all, Park strives to create enduring wardrobe favorites that pierce the heart and awaken delight in anyone who wears them.
